I began riding in the late 80’s in northern Florida where dressage was a staple of our local Air Force community. Being an older adult rider/student I quickly discovered how hard dressage could be. So it was no surprise that I took a transfer with the USAF to be in Germany. I quickly found a riding school and the journey began. I spent the next 10 years living in Europe and attending any clinic I could (mostly as an auditor and occasionally as a rider). I had the pleasure of riding a wonderful horse, but left Europe and horses in the late 90”s.
In 2001, I again found myself riding, but wondered why a saddle spoiled all the fun of bareback riding. My search for the perfect saddle ended with my introduction to Debbie Witty at the World Cup and the rest has been a joyful adventure to share my love for Trilogy with anyone that is willing to listen. Although I started riding late in life, I enjoy a great deal of pleasure and have experienced success since beginning my journey with Trilogy Saddles. The last three years have allowed me to grow in my skills in many ways. I find the future of this journey very exciting as my knowledge and experience deepen.
